Honestly? Most clients describe it as mild pressure or a light scratching sensation — not the scary experience they imagined. We apply a topical numbing cream before we begin, so you're comfortable throughout. Nano brows tend to be even gentler than traditional microblading because the digital machine is kinder to the skin. You might feel a little nervous walking in, but you'll be relaxed and chatting with us within minutes.

With proper care, nano brows last anywhere from 1.5 to 2 years. A perfecting touch-up at 6–12 weeks is recommended and priced separately; Cynthia quotes it at your first appointment. That's when we perfect the final result once your skin has healed. After that, annual or biannual touch-ups keep them looking fresh. Oily skin, sun exposure, and certain skincare products can affect longevity, which is something we'll chat about during your consultation.

A little prep goes a long way! For brow services: avoid alcohol, blood thinners, and retinol for 48 hours before your appointment. Don't wax or tint your brows for 2 weeks prior. Arrive with clean skin and no brow makeup. For lip blush: exfoliate your lips gently the day before and stay hydrated. We'll send you a full prep guide after booking. Healing is a journey, and we'll be with you every step of the way. In the first few days, your brows will look darker and more defined than the final result — don't panic, this is completely normal! Around days 4–7, they'll start to flake and lighten. By weeks 2–4, they may look faded or patchy (we call this the 'ugly duckling phase' — it's temporary, we promise). By weeks 4–6, the true healed color emerges and you'll be absolutely obsessed. Your recommended 6–12 week perfecting touch-up (priced separately) is where we perfect everything.
